Detroit 48202: Conversations Along A Postal Route -Chase Branch

March 7th, 2:00 pm - March 7th, 4:00 pm

Chase Branch - Detroit Public Library

For this screening we will be taking an interactive approach by working with InsideOut Literary Arts! Detroit 48202 is a documentary following a mailman's route in a Detroit neighborhood, and the changes that he has seen over the past 30 years. After showing two brief clips of the documentary, two artists from InsideOut will lead a writing workshop based around similar themes. The artists will then perform a small collection of their own poems to close out the event. This is a great event for those who are being introduced to the film and who have already seen it!...
