Campbell Terrace
Dequindre Cut Greenway
Detroit, MI

Celebrate Juneteenth on the Dequindre Cut with live music, vendors, food trucks, and more! Located on the eastern border of historic Black Bottom, the Dequindre Cut’s Juneteenth celebration will celebrate the legacy of Black Bottom with storytelling, performances, and interactive opportunities for all ages. Teens and older adults from InsideOut’s intergenerational workshop series will share poems and stories that spotlight their personal histories and the creative and cultural links between generations.

We recommend you bring a chair or blanket to sit on as there is not formal seating at Campbell Terrace. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. The Campbell Terrace stage is located at the Lafayette + St. Aubin entrance to the Dequindre Cut. Please note that motorized vehicles are not permitted on the Dequindre Cut; guests will park on nearby streets and enter the Cut via a ramp. Bikes, skateboards, and roller skates all welcome, as are dogs on a leash. All ages welcome!

Juneteenth on the Cut is hosted by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, in partnership with D. Cipher, Concert of Colors, and InsideOut Literary Arts.
