Our annual poetry billboard campaign featured in the Detroit News!

In honor of our poetry billboard campaign, some of our student poets and their families were able to join us to read their poems in front of their larger-than-life billboards!

It’s one of our favorite feelings to see these young poets and their words lifted up and affirmed. The pride on their families’ faces is a close second!

Thank you to the students of Boggs School, Citywide Poets, Cesar Chavez Academy, Garvey Academy, Schulze Academy for Arts and Technology, and Hope of Detroit Elementary in Detroit, and Salina Elementary in Dearborn for inspiring us every day with your poems and to our dedicated Writers-in-Residence who make everything we do possible. And a huge thank you to Lafayette American for their incredible partnership in bringing this project to life!
