InsideOut student poet King Bethel wrote a spoken word piece that earned him a $25,000 scholarship from the Detroit Pistons Foundation.
King attended InsideOut Citywide Poets afterschool program for teens, as well as participating in our Thriving Together partnership with the Detroit Zoological Society. The scholarship will support King’s education at the Berklee College of Music.
