Detroit Youth Poet Laureate

Each year, InsideOut searches for civically-engaged youth poets to promote creativity, literacy, and civic awareness in metro Detroit. The Detroit Youth Poet Laureate, awarded annually, designs a community service project, publishes a collection of poems, and performs across the region. Three Ambassadors were also selected in 2018 to further amplify the voices of young artists and leaders in the community.
